If i recollect right, I was once told that the seven deadly sins are pride, envy, gluttony, lust, anger, greed, and sloth. I also recollect having heard of specific punishments meted out to people in hell for having committed one or more of the afore mentioned sins. The punishments ofcourse sounded like a joke to me, for whom the concept of hell by itself is absurd, and in my opinion it only accounts to being a fearfactor for a big percentage of souls.
Living in denial, which isn't considered to be one of the seven deadly sins might as well be the one sin people ought to fear the most. It opens up the scope for a f*** up of sorts and is hardly ever followed up with a mea culpa kinda confession.
I have been living in denial for a couple of days now. I refuse to accept a few facts, disacknowledge favors, decline approachability, forbid other options and rule out even the remotest possibility of not deserving the one thing that i've craved for all my life. Mea cupla. Open the doors to hell. When life is a punishment, hell couldn't be much worse.

Denial is probabaly the first step towards a solution.
One hates it that things turned out to be what they are and wish that they were different, but you atleast acknowledge that they are wrong. Mighty few in world actually do that.
Then will come acceptance and problem solving.
You are just in "Phase One". There are better times to follow...
This reminds me of something...with no reference to anything else watsoever.Chandler in the sitcom "Friends" breaks up with a girl and is devastated. He is in his sweats the whole day and he describes it I think as "Phase One" (i'm not sure). I remember one other phase was a trip to the strip bar. Though I am not suggesting anything of that sort.
All I can do is to offer you a bear hug and a bird kiss.

A bear hug and a bird kiss sounds great. I'm working on my approachability factor right away.
All in good time :-)

There is no good or bad time ;)
The mind is its own place, and in itself, can make heaven of Hell, and a hell of Heaven.
- John Milton
I believe that..really.
@ searchinformrmojorisin
I thought that was Blake from "The Marriage of Heaven and Hell"... Blake though confessed to being influenced by Milton on multiple counts... so you are probably right...
oh.. btw.. I do concur...
full of BS
@ anonymous
BS meaning bull shit ? :-)
you are entitled to your opinion...
'Mea culpa'--want to correct?
Well, how ever it is said, most of the problems we face (When I say most, I really mean MOST). are our own mistakes....Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it's a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from n yeah..how can I not say this: The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing. Laugh at them, learn from them...
@ frail humanity
Good thought, nicely put... I agree... I wonder why such an old post is getting so much attention today ?
May be because you refered your site to someone too late?
hmmm... that puts all the pieces together... :-)
