Paraphrasing the desi guy's "technical jargon" in the Cisco commerical, "The security is in the doohickey next to the blinky thing. Security is everywhere, where the blinky thing is, Sir". That commercial is pretty punny :-)... but i think they could have done without trying to show off a stereotypical desi geek... Anywhoooo, this is how i would describe my work if i was that fella in the commercial...
Security lies in the ability of the doohickies (flying in orbital space,) towards generating snazzy images (pic 2) using the jazzy images (pic 3) and eliminating the blinky things in the first peppered map...
On a side note, it's said that
life is colorful... Spin it as you wish, but thousands of these images have kept me professionally (or academically) entertained for over two years now... But now, it's time to move on... Not sadly so, but gladly so...

have you ever applied Heisenbergs compenstors to the generated flux vectors interlaced over a four dimensional gamma-scatter phase-shift to enhance the space-time spectral analysis ? results of that are simply mindblowing... :D
No. What i've done is projected multi-hundred dimensional beam-formed space-time steering vectors on to an orthogonal eigen-space and compressed the volumetric eigen-space search for candidate targets to six dimensions or lower, consequently making on-board processing a possibility within the realms of terraflopish computing systems. Seriously.

Not bad at all... just saved yourself some cerebral damage :P ... Reconstruction still under process behind closed curtains... look for a face lift sometime in april.. and, yes the clock does show my local time...
Well the 'ix' part is kind of a village thing...
Everybodys name in my village ends with 'ix' (i come from a small village on the cost of north-west France)... For example, my neighbours are Asterix, Obelix, Getafix, Cacofonix, Unhygenix, etc, etc...
This name convention transcends across class and caste boundaries.. Our local zamindar and village panchayat head is Thakur Vitalstatistix...
i kno i saved myself from serious damage, the day i decided to quit science... and boy am i glad. Else i wud not have been the person that i am today :D

I bought back with me my collection of tintin, amar chitra katha, and asterix when i came back from India last year!!!
I donno why but i never fancied tintin or asterix as a kid... I did lap up a whole lot of amar chitra kathas and panchatantras though...
